Teddington

Teddington has quite a rural feel and is adjacent to the River Thames and Bushy Park. It offers large period homes, cottages in conservation areas and modern apartments with spectacular views of either the river. 

The high street provides a variety of amenities from supermarkets to independent boutiques and gift shops; along with a number of gyms and a local swimming pool. 

Teddington has excellent transport links to central London, Richmond and Kingston upon Thames, and is only a short distance from the M3, M25 and M4.

 

Hampton Hill

Hampton Hill, also bordered by Bushy Park offers a variety of period, post-war and new build properties, ranging from character cottages, 1930’s semi-detached family homes to expansive Victorian and Edwardian houses.  Its high street offers a wide selection of shops, bars, restaurants and a small theatre.  With good bus links to Richmond, Kingston and Twickenham, Hampton Hill is also easily accessible to the M3, M25 and A3 and Heathrow Airport.

 

Hampton

Hampton links Hampton Hill to the River Thames, and is less than a mile from Hampton Court Palace.

Hampton offers a village atmosphere with a wide selection of properties ranging from period cottages and 1930’s family homes, to modern developments and 16th Century listed properties.


There is a regular rail service to central London and a popular outdoor swimming pool used year-round by many locals.

 

Hampton Wick

Hampton Wick offers many large family homes, period cottages and a variety of converted and purpose built apartments, some over looking the river.  Offering a village atmosphere, it has a variety of shops, pubs and restaurants.  Hampton Wick is within walking distance of central Kingston and has a frequent train service to London Waterloo.

 


Sunbury-on-Thames

Sunbury-on-Thames is a leafy suburb consisting of two core areas: Lower Sunbury and Sunbury Cross.

The latter is more urban and has excellent access to the M3 and the M25, while Lower Sunbury has a village-type atmosphere and is located along the River Thames with many historic buildings.


There are walled gardens adjoining Sunbury Park which host annual concerts and plays, during the summer months. In August a traditional regatta is held on the picturesque banks of the River Thames.

There are good local schools, offering education from pre-school through to sixth form. In addition, Sunbury has its own Leisure Centre, a sailing club at the Queen Mary Reservoir and the popular Kempton Park Racecourse.

 

Shepperton

Shepperton offers a historic village setting close to the River Thames. The Church Square was the original centre of the village and still remains a very picturesque area with many period buildings, pretty pubs and restaurants.

The main High Street is located 1 mile north and comprises a cluster of local shops and café’s, with the British Rail station at one end.

Shepperton benefits from BR services into Waterloo, coupled with regular bus routes and easy access to M3 and M25. Shepperton Studios are a world-renowned part of the British film industry.
