According to hearsay, the name goes back to one of our early owners and his dog, Buchanan. When it was time to head home, he’d throw a stick and call out: “Chase, Buchanan!”

It made people smile, it stuck, and it became the name above the door. And while we’ve grown since those early days, the idea behind it still fits: a local business that people recognise and feel comfortable walking into.

Chase Buchanan started on York Street in Twickenham in 1994. Since then, we’­ve grown into a network of 9 local branches, with experienced teams who know their areas inside out.

Today, we’re part of the Campions Group, and we continue to operate independently as Chase Buchanan. Your point of contact stays local, and the service is delivered by the team in your branch.

Property rules and responsibilities change quickly, especially in lettings and property management. Our teams are trained, qualified and up to date, so you can feel confident everything is handled properly and in line with current legislation.

Because we’re rooted in the areas we serve, we encourage everyone in the business to get involved in local community projects and charity fundraisers.

Over the years, we’ve raised tens of thousands of pounds for charities and good causes. Each branch chooses a local charity to support every year, so we can spread our fundraising and contribute meaningful support to a wide range of organisations.

Across the group, we’re also working towards raising over £20,000 for the Motor Neurone Disease Association (MNDA) through fundraising events.
